Your Safety and Security Are Important To Us

What will you do with my personal information?

We understand that you care about how your personal information — name, email address, phone number, service address, and project details — is used online. The owner of Northland Dumpsters is committed to your privacy. Any information you choose to provide us is kept confidential, and we will never sell or provide that information to anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

We do not share or disclose any mobile information you provide, including phone numbers, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use your email address and any other information you choose to provide only to serve you better — to process your online booking, schedule and confirm your dumpster delivery and pickup, answer questions about your rental, notify you of changes to our site or service area, and share disposal guidance, permit information, and special pricing available to our customers and newsletter subscribers.

Information We Collect

For each visitor to our website, our web server collects standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use cookies and similar technologies to remember visitor preferences, record session information, and understand how our site is used so we can improve it.

When you book a dumpster online, request a quote, or contact us through the site, we collect the information you submit — including your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, project type, and requested rental dates. If you supply us with a postal address, service address, or telephone number, you will receive contact from us regarding that request or the order you have placed.

Blog Comments

If you leave a comment on our blog, we collect the information shown in the comment form along with your IP address and browser user agent string, which help us detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you have an account there; the Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, the profile picture associated with it is visible to the public. Comments may be screened by an automated spam detection service.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Some pages on this site include embedded content from other websites, such as maps and videos. Embedded content behaves exactly as though you had visited that other website directly. Those websites may collect data about you, set their own cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content — including if you are logged in to an account with them.

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of outside companies to operate this website and run our business, including our website host, our online booking system, our payment processor, and services that help filter spam and measure how our site is used. These companies receive only the information they need in order to perform that function for us, and they are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes. This does not apply to mobile opt-in data or text messaging consent, which is not shared with any third party.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving customer data exchanged with our site. We maintain appropriate security measures at our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information collected from you at our site.

Questions or Concerns

If you believe this site is not following its stated information policy, you may contact us at the address, email, or phone number above. You may also contact the Federal Trade Commission by phone at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357) or online at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov.

Mobile Opt-In Data

No mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS Terms and Conditions

By opting in to receive messages, the end user agrees to receive communications from Northland Dumpsters regarding Dumpster services.

End users may opt out at any time by replying STOP or request more information by replying HELP.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

After replying STOP, you will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. Replying HELP will return our contact information at (816) 588-7819.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of renting a dumpster or purchasing any goods or services from Northland Dumpsters.

Payment Security

Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes. Payments made through www.northlanddumpsters.com are processed over a secure, encrypted connection using industry-standard SSL/TLS technology. Card data is transmitted directly to our payment processor and is encrypted in transit. Your browser must accept cookies in order to complete an order.

What makes it secure?

The technology is proven and widely used. SSL/TLS encryption is the standard across the payment industry and is supported by every major browser. It scrambles the data you enter so that it can only be read by the intended recipient. This is more secure than reading your card number aloud over the phone or sending it by fax.

The same protections used by major retailers. The encryption standards protecting your transaction with us are the same ones used by large national retailers processing millions of orders. We have served Kansas City area customers since 2018 without a credit card fraud incident.

Prefer not to pay online?

That’s fine. Call us at (816) 588-7819 and we can take your order and payment over the phone.

Credit Card Guarantee

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 in fraudulent charges. If your bank exercises its right to hold you liable for that $50.00, Northland Dumpsters will reimburse you up to the full $50.00.

This applies only when the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted from a purchase made with www.northlanddumpsters.com through our secure server and was caused by no fault of your own.

If you suffer a loss due to unauthorized use of your card, you must notify your credit card company immediately, following the reporting rules and procedures they have provided you.
